FAQ | Casino Ajax Hours, Parking & Quick Answers

Hours, age, and getting to the crossing

Is the casino floor open 24 hours?Yes. The slot floor at Casino Ajax runs 24/7 on the operator schedule. Check Great Canadian news if a labour or disruption banner pops up before you drive. Ajax Downs live racing and the Off-Track Lounge follow a seasonal calendar, not the same rhythm as the machines. For tonight's plan and pin context, see the Durham Crossing guide.

How old do I need to be to play?19+ in Ontario for the casino floor and for Ajax Casino online. Bring original, government-issued photo ID. Guest Services and security follow Great Canadian Entertainment house rules. Full ID checklist on the arrive and play guide.

Is parking free at Casino Ajax?Complimentary outdoor parking is offered for guests. Arrival tips, peak-night expectations, and how to find the entrance from the lot are on the arrive and play guide.

Games and what is not on site

How many slot machines does Casino Ajax have?About 500 slot machines, plus electronic table games and a high-limit area. Old affiliate pages inflate that number. Layout, denominations, and high-limit framing are on the on the floor games page.

Does Casino Ajax have a live poker room?No live poker room — despite claims on some third-party sites. You will find slots and electronic table games, not a staffed live pit like a large resort. What is actually on the floor is spelled out on the on the floor games page.

Can you smoke inside the casino?Ontario casinos operate under indoor smoking restrictions. Assume no smoking on the gaming floor and follow posted signage and staff direction at the property. If outdoor designated areas exist, they are marked on site. When in doubt, ask Guest Services on arrival.

Is there a hotel at Alexander's Crossing? No on-site hotel at Casino Ajax or Ajax Downs. Some old affiliate pages invented a "Casino Ajax hotel" — that is not part of this destination. Plan an evening visit or stay elsewhere in Durham Region.

Racing, dining, and track season

When does live Quarter Horse racing run at Ajax Downs?Live Quarter Horse racing typically runs May through October, with simulcast and lounge viewing at other times of year. The casino building stays 24/7 even when the oval is quiet. Seasonal stakes and calendar detail will expand on our racing guide when published. Until then, check operator racing communications before you plan a rail-side night.

What are Getaway Restaurant's hours?Getaway Restaurant hours move with staffing and quiet nights. Menus, race-night lines, and the 20% dining perk angle are on the Getaway and railside dining page.

Bonuses, cashback, and Rewards

How do I get the C$20 welcome offer when I sign up?Register on Ajax Casino online, then fund at least C$20 on the first deposit path to unlock C$20 in free play credits. Do that on the play from home page. Stacking, expiry, and eligible games are on the bonuses and rewards page and rules of play page.

How does Monday cashback work, and what is the cap?Monday cashback is 10% on eligible online play, capped at C$50. The cap matters more than the percentage headline. Full day-of rules on the bonuses and rewards page.

What is the Wednesday reload offer?Wednesday reload is a 50% match on deposits up to C$100 for online play. Mid-week top-up habit, not a licence to skip the fine print. Weekly rhythm and floor-versus-online notes on the bonuses and rewards page.

What is the difference between Great Canadian Rewards and my Ajax Casino online login?Great Canadian Rewards is the plastic card from Guest Services. Points rack up on rated slots and electronic tables at the crossing. Ajax Casino online is a separate sign-in wallet on your phone or laptop. Same brand, different pockets. Card pickup on the arrive and play guide. Online sign-up on the play from home page.

Do members get a birthday bonus?A named birthday offer floats on old promo sheets without a fixed dollar amount. The clearer perk is the membership anniversary / birthday choice: C$10 free play or 20% off eligible casino dining — pick one, not both. Redemption steps on the bonuses and rewards page.

Ajax Casino online — account, banking, and phone play

What is Ajax Casino online?Ajax Casino online is how you play the same Casino Ajax brand from Ontario when you are not at Alexander's Crossing — browser and mobile web, not a separate unrelated casino. Registration, sign-in, and CAD banking are on the play from home page.

How can I deposit into my Ajax Casino online account?Deposits are CAD only, usually credit or debit at the cashier. C$20 minimum matches the welcome row. Step-by-step on the play from home page. Hard limits on the rules of play page.

How long do online withdrawals take?Withdrawals generally move by bank transfer after account checks — exact processing days vary by product and bank. We do not promise same-hour cash-outs.

Is there a Casino Ajax mobile app?No Casino Ajax icon in the app stores for this product. Use the mobile-optimised website in Safari or Chrome. Wrappers in search results are not the licensed login. Browser tips on the play from home page.

Comparisons and who to contact

How is Casino Ajax different from Pickering Casino Resort?Casino Ajax is the ~500-machine crossing with Ajax Downs beside it — slot-and-track night, not Pickering's bigger resort floor. From Ajax you head west on the 401 toward Pickering for the other east-GTA hall. Same operator family, different scale and dining. A longer Pickering face-off is coming later on the site.

Who operates Casino Ajax, and how do I reach Guest Services?Great Canadian Entertainment runs the floor under the Ontario Gaming GTA LP bundle you also hear tied to Woodbine and Great Blue Heron. Call 905-985-4888 or 1-866-445-3939 for Guest Services.
